eLearning Awards 2009

.
Assim, acordei cedinho e candidatei-me com o Clube Scratch time! usando o link do blogue e descrevendo (em inglês) todas as áreas que me foram solicitadas na candidatura).
.
3. Judging (ver aqui as regras)
Entries are assessed online by evaluators who are experts in the use of ICT in education from different countries in Europe. Evaluators score projects according to criteria to identify a shortlist of 70 potential winners and identify candidates for special awards. The eLearning Awards partners may be involved in the selection of special award winners for the prizes they sponsor. Evaluators consider the following criteria (as tais áreas que tive de preencher):
Content of the entry
Pedagogical innovation (promotion of active learning, evidence of collaboration)
Creative and innovative use of ICT
Sustainability and transferability to other countries and schools
Results and benefits
A judging panel of respected authorities in the field of ICT in education then evaluates the short-listed entries and selects the winners. The judges’ decision is final. No discussion will be entered into.
.
Ainda vão a tempo!

ABOUT THE AWARDS (fonte)
Since 2001, European Schoolnet has been running the eLearning Awards to acknowledge and highlight teachers and schools’ best practices in the pedagogical use of ICT.
Many teachers find innovative ways of teaching and learning based on new technologies, but often their work is not known outside a small circle. The eLearning Awards help teachers to have their creativity and technical skills recognised, and at the same time show to a wider audience how ICT helps improve their methodology, enriches their work in the classroom and positively impacts on children’s learning. The eLearning Awards gallery displays all entries grouped by country and makes inspiring work from Europe and beyond easily accessible for peer-learning.
This year, to give increased visibility to teachers’ innovative practice, improve peer-learning, knowledge building and resource sharing, all valid entries will also be included in the Learning Resource Exchange library (
http://lreforschools.eun.org), the largest learning resource repository in Europe with more than 17 Ministries of Education participating.
IThe eLearning Awards have attracted thousands of entries from schools in over 40 countries in Europe since their inception. All projects are evaluated by an international jury of educational experts. Winners receive a prize for their school (cash and/or ICT equipment) and an invitation to a prize-giving ceremony that this year will be held in the charming city of Vilnius, Lithuania, on 26-27 November 2009.
Over the last eight years, the winners have been invited to prize-giving ceremonies taking place as part of the EMINENT conference in Lisbon, Stockholm, Geneva, Prague, Paris, Bruges, Brussels and Rome. The EMINENT conference is a major European event in education, which brings together ICT policy makers from Agencies and Ministries of Education, experts, researchers and leading eLearning suppliers from the commercial sector.
The eLearning Awards 2009 are organised by European Schoolnet (
www.europeanschoolnet.org), a network of 31 Ministries of Education, with the support of major industry players in the area of new technologies for teaching and learning. ...
